For anyone interested, you can pick up the CD-R version of "Second Grand Ashlar". These are color printed CD-R faces (same as the ones we used for basically all the CD-R releases we've ever done!) The covers are a nice glossy two sided cardstock, and will also include the mock up fake Actuel Records cover on the same type of nice glossy cardstock. Comes in a CD jewel case with two sided jewel case card. The CD-R version also comes with an extra track, and “Composition #9” is all one single track.

This release is "spiritual" successor of sorts to our earlier release "First Grand Ashlar" (controlvalve1.bandcamp.com/album/first-grand-ashlar) which was curated for release by the sadly defunct (?) Control Valve net-label. This recording is composed of modular synth and stand-alone electronics, laptop/PureData, smart phone applications, field recordings, and analog tape collage and manipulation. The different elements of this recording span from 2015 to 2020.
